These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of gitpeptides.com (the "Site") and any products purchased through it, operated by Git Peptides ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
All products offered on the Site are sold strictly for laboratory and scientific research use only. They are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, dietary supplements, or medical devices, and are not intended for human or veterinary use, consumption, or administration. By purchasing, you represent that you are a qualified researcher or institution acquiring products solely for lawful in-vitro research, and that you will not use or resell them for any purpose involving human or animal consumption.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Site or place an order. By using the Site you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
You are solely responsible for the safe and lawful handling, storage, use, and disposal of any product you purchase, and for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as your institution's policies. You assume all risk associated with handling research materials.
We may accept or decline any order at our discretion. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. We strive for accuracy but are not responsible for typographical errors in pricing or descriptions, and we reserve the right to cancel orders affected by such errors. Payment must be received and verified before an order ships.
We currently ship within the United States. Orders are prepared and dispatched on business days (Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays). Orders placed before 1:00 PM Pacific on a business day are generally processed the same business day; orders placed after that cutoff, or on a weekend or holiday, are processed the next business day.
We ship via USPS and UPS, with the service level you select at checkout. Shipping charges are calculated and shown at checkout. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number; please allow up to 24 hours for the carrier's tracking to update. Estimated transit times are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed — we are not responsible for carrier delays caused by weather, volume, or other factors outside our control. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Packages returned to us because of an incorrect or undeliverable address may be subject to a reshipment charge, and we are not responsible for shipments lost as a result of an address error. If a package shows as delivered but you have not received it, contact us and we will help you pursue the matter with the carrier.
Because our products are sensitive research materials whose stability and chain of custody cannot be verified once they leave our control, all sales are final and we do not accept returns or exchanges once an order has shipped. The following limited exceptions apply, together with any rights you may have under applicable law:
Where a refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer. Original shipping charges are non-refundable except where an item was incorrect or defective due to our error, or where otherwise required by law.
Any scientific or reference information on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only, reflects third-party research, and is not a representation of safety or efficacy for any use. Products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Git Peptides and its owners, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use or misuse of any product or the Site. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Git Peptides from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Site or products, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
All content on the Site — text, graphics, logos, and design — is owned by or licensed to Git Peptides and is protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it without our written permission.
We may revise these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted, with the "Last updated" date revised. Your continued use of the Site after changes means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
